CTI has a long history in providing optimization in the aviation sector.  In 2007 CTI founded the CTI-Monash Centre for Optimization in Transport, Travel and Logistics with Monash University to create state-of-the-art optimization techniques and bring them to the proof-of-concept stage, collaborating with researchers from the Universities of Melbourne and Newcastle in several research projects with additional funding support from the Australia Research Council.

The combination of advanced optimization algorithms with CTI's high-speed business rules system results in optimization solutions that are easy to configure to match the ever-changing business environment, while raising productivity, reducing costs and increasing staff satisfaction.
